Dewi...

When I was in Bali I completely fell in love with this magazine title Dewi. Once upon a time I lived with an incredibly beautiful Indonesian girl, Kirana and her second name was 'Dewi'. It means Princess and the connection to Kirana seemed uncanny so I have been a loyal fan of this mag ever since. It reminds me of her natural elegance and grace with a spark of eclectic fashion sense. Her fashion sense still inspires me now #dewimag

I feel really privileged to have worked on this shoot with Anisa Mpungwe on her collab with Mr Price. Besides being extremely talented she's got a good business head and is tremendously down to earth. Yemi our model was also just fab. For a behind the scenes look check out the video.

African Queens...

I have had the pleasure of working with some young African Queens of song lately and have been playing lots with the idea of mixing traditional prints. You can either go real Afro-Futuristic or stick to a more conservative Afro-Vintage. Both are super fun and I can tell I'm going to be spending lots of time with the majesty of prints, dear Yadah

I take my Instagram quite seriously and don't just follow anyone, who needs another newsfeed clogged up with un-inspirational crap? Exactly. While I love staying in touch with my friends across the globe I also enjoy following these lovely South African ladies, I think you should follow them too. 1. Kindred Spirits...

When you're stuck in a creative mind it's often helpful to find a kindred spirit to remind you that you're not a mad market hoarder full of crafty thoughts bouncing around your head. I've find mine in a few artists but Linda Rodin is my ultimate, once fashion editor (like moi), stylist, treasure tracker she is the epitome of where I would like my creative mind grow. Plus she never photographs without wearing a great pair of sunnies, again…a rule I insist on.
