Dewi...
When I was in Bali I completely fell in love with this magazine title Dewi. Once upon a time I lived with an incredibly beautiful Indonesian girl, Kirana and her second name was 'Dewi'. It means Princess and the connection to Kirana seemed uncanny so I have been a loyal fan of this mag ever since. It reminds me of her natural elegance and grace with a spark of eclectic fashion sense. Her fashion sense still inspires me now #dewimag

The Rise of The Vega Knights
The Vega Student showcase took place this week. There was some standout work and there's nothing like some nipple to make you look! I'm not going to share it all with you because you still have ONE more day to catch the exhib at the Vega School 16 Imvubu Park Place, Riverhorse Valley. Thanks to @Michaellawight for the pics xxx

Karen Walker Kenya
Renown sunglasses designer Karen Walker from New Zealand recently embarked on a project in Kenya where she takes her fashion skills to impoverished communities to get them involved on the production side of her business by assisting in making product. Donna Karen has done a similar project in Haiti and I have also embarked on something similar in the Jozini area of KwaZulu Natal. Can't wait to share it with you. It reminds me of the saying 'you can give a man a fish and he can eat for a day but if you teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime'. #loveafrica

Who Dat Who Dat?
Nickki Minaj might have hosted the MTV Awards but everyone is still talking about Iggy Azalea. I think she be so fancy. 100 times better than that Anaconda child.

Wish I Was There...
Australia is my second home and I have never timed a trip back in time to make the Melbourne Cup since I moved back home. There's nothing like dressing up and heading to Melbourne with my dad to watch the ponies. Mate, this year looked hell fun with Nicole Richie, Bambi Northwood-Blythe, old Leyton Blwehitt and Bec from Home and Away. Ridge Forrestor even made an appearance. Maybe next year Miss Buttons will be in the mix too.

Urban Jungle...
I need the chair, a few more banana leaf scatter cushions (I can't get enough), the elephant drawing and maybe the shelf, then definitely the banana leaf wallpaper. I remember seeing it in the bathrooms of a really fancy hotel in LA when I was young and I've needed it ever since.

In Store Now...
I feel really privileged to have worked on this shoot with Anisa Mpungwe on her collab with Mr Price. Besides being extremely talented she's got a good business head and is tremendously down to earth. Yemi our model was also just fab. For a behind the scenes look check out the video.
